Handheld steam cleaner being used on kitchen tile grout

Pressure Does the Scrubbing

Baked on grease and grout grime resist a cloth because they are stuck, not because they are dirty. High pressure steam loosens them so they wipe away, which means less scrubbing and no bottles of cleaner under the sink.

What Comes in the Box

The 1000W handheld unit with its 280ml tank and the nozzle attachments it ships with, ready to fill and use. Michiaelio ships it free.

Filling the steam cleaner water tank at a kitchen sink

Fill, Heat, Trigger

Fill the tank with clean water, seal the cap firmly and let it come up to pressure, then work in short bursts and wipe as you go. Let it cool completely before opening the cap to refill.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I use it on?
Tile and grout, oven interiors, hobs, extractor grilles, sinks, taps and car vents. Test an inconspicuous spot first on anything sealed, painted, varnished or delicate, since heat can lift finishes.
How long does one tank last?
The 280ml tank suits one job at a time, such as an oven door or a stretch of grout, rather than a whole house. Refilling means letting it cool first, so plan the session around that.
Do I need to add detergent?
No, and you should not. Use clean water only. Putting detergent or descaler in the tank can damage the unit and force chemicals out as vapour.
Is it safe to handle while hot?
The steam is hot enough to scald, so keep hands, face and pets clear of the nozzle and never point it at anyone. Do not open the cap while it is pressurised or still hot, and keep it out of reach of children.
Should I use tap water?
In a hard water area, distilled or filtered water keeps limescale from building up inside and blocking the nozzle. Empty the tank after use rather than leaving water sitting in it.
