A slim offset wrench for the bolts you cannot get a normal socket onto. Water pumps, alternators, starters, air conditioning compressors, anywhere the gap is too tight for a ratchet head.

  • Only 0.63 inches thick, so it slides into gaps a standard ratchet cannot enter
  • Zero degree swing arc, so it turns fasteners with no room to swing
  • Chain drive inside a chrome plated steel body for smooth, durable operation
  • Rated to 53 ft lb (71.2 Nm) and safe to use with impact and pneumatic wrenches

How to use

  1. Fit the adapter that matches your socket or bit onto the drive end.
  2. Slide the thin head onto the fastener and attach your ratchet, impact wrench or pneumatic wrench to the drive rod.
  3. Turn as normal. The chain drive transfers the torque along the arm.

Flexible extension wrench on a garage workbench

Reach the Bolt You Cannot Reach

Water pumps, alternators, starters and air conditioning compressors all hide bolts behind something else. The slim offset head slides into gaps where a ratchet simply will not fit, which turns a strip down job into a ten minute one.

What Comes in the Box

The wrench arrives with its socket adapters so it works across common bolt sizes from the first job. Michiaelio ships it free.

Using the extension wrench in a tight engine bay

Slide It In, Fit the Adapter, Turn

Pick the adapter that matches the bolt, slide the head into the gap, and turn from the handle end. The offset gives you swing where there is no room for a ratchet arc.

Frequently Asked Questions

What jobs is it really for?
Anywhere the bolt is accessible but the tool is not. Water pump and alternator bolts are the classic examples, along with compressor and starter fixings.
Which sizes does it cover?
The included adapters cover the sizes that come up most in engine bay work. Check the listed set against the bolts on your own vehicle before ordering.
Will it take real torque?
It is built to break bolts loose and run them back up. For a seized fixing, free it with penetrating oil first rather than forcing a thin tool.
Does it replace my ratchet set?
No, it fills the gap your ratchet cannot reach. Most people keep it alongside their normal set for the two or three bolts per job that need it.
How should I store it?
Wipe the oil off and keep it with the adapters together in a drawer or tool roll, so the set stays complete when you next need it.
