Flattened factory shoe insole beside the contoured orthotic arch support insole

Your Shoe Is Doing Less Than You Think

The foam insole a shoe ships with compresses flat within weeks, which is usually why arches start aching by mid shift. These replace it with a contoured 1.38 inch arch, a deep U shaped heel cup and three point support, so your weight spreads across the whole foot instead of collapsing into the middle.

What Comes in the Box

One pair of orthotic insoles in the size you choose, with a breathable BK cloth top layer over PU foam and a TPU support shell underneath. Nothing to assemble or break in. Michiaelio ships them free.

Swap, Seat, Settle In

Take the original insole out of your shoe first, since these are a replacement rather than an extra layer on top. Drop them in heel first and press along the arch until they sit flat. If you have never worn a supportive arch before, wear them part time for the first few days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which size should I choose?
Sizes run in shoe size bands rather than exact sizes. Check the size chart in the product images against your usual shoe size, and if you fall between two bands choose the larger one.
Will they fit my work shoes?
They suit closed shoes with a removable insole, such as trainers, work boots and nursing clogs. Shoes with a glued in footbed or very little depth are where they do not work, since adding height without taking anything out makes the shoe tight.
Why do they feel strange at first?
A 1.38 inch arch holds your foot in a position it may not be used to, and that takes a few days to stop noticing. Building wear time up gradually is the difference between adjusting to them and giving up on them in the first week.
Can I move them between shoes?
They lift out and drop into another pair easily enough, but swapping them back and forth every morning gets old quickly. Most people who wear them for work end up with a second pair so the work shoes keep theirs permanently.
Will these fix my foot problem?
These are a comfort and support insole, not a medical device, and they are not a substitute for advice from a podiatrist or doctor. If you have ongoing foot pain, get it looked at properly rather than waiting to see whether an insole sorts it out.
